Initially launched with twin Yanmar diesels and surface drives, these were used for 100 hours before conversion to outboards in April 2014. The AZZUM standard model is now faster and quieter and the motors more easily serviced than previously. It is now possible to beach the vessel as there are no rudders or other appendages beneath the hull. The main hull is fitted with a hydrofoil either side. There are now two huge stowage areas in the side hulls where the inboard diesels used to reside. These areas could be converted into 2 additional, crew-style berths.

Also we do not recommend the inboard Yanmar diesel version, it is available on request and might be preferred to bigger power trimaran versions.
